American artist Chelle Jovan is best known for her custom pet portrait glass work. Prior to working behind a lampworking torch she has created in many aspects of glass art as well as several other mediums in her St Louis, MO studio. With a background in earthenware and polymer clay, she applies similar techniques to molten glass to create a miniature likeness of a person's pet. Her inspiration comes from nature and the love of all animals.
She has publications with Glass Line Magazine and has taught one on one instruction and group class in the US as well as Japan.
